The food is pretty good, service can be a hit or miss.

Great breakfast! I had the Machaca, and the shredded beef was moist and plentiful. Veronica was a delight, brightening our rainy Thanksgiving morning with excellent service.

Great food, friendly staff and portion sizes to keep you going the whole day. All at prices that won't leave you broke. A place to bookmark on your travels!

Best Breakfast in San Diego, I recommend the California Benedict. Perfectly poached eggs.

The service was good. They get everything out to you fast! I didn't love my food, though. I had a savory crepe whose batter was sweet. Th us combined with the unseasoned chicken in the crepe made it an item I probably won't try again. If I decide to try them again, I'll try something different

French toast and breakfast food game is on point! Service is attentive. Portions are reasonable.

Excellent breakfast spot on the Gaslamp Quarter District. Had the chicken & waffles Benedict. Everything was delicious. Chilaquiles with chicken were recommended by the waitress and they were very flavorful.

There is always a wait here because the food and atmosphere are great. I always order the gravy and bisquits; they are almost as good as my Southern mother's. In addition to the less healthy g&b, there is a large selection of healthy choices. The staff are attentive and helpful. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I wish I had found this place on my first day in San Diego, not my last. For it's location - right in Gas Lamp - it's a really nice little place for breakfast. They have a breakfast special for $9 that was all the breakfast anyone really needs, and it was done perfectly - even the over easy eggs, which at most places are usually under done or over done. Great service, quiet atmosphere, nice place ..... I'll visit this one again someday.

Food was ok, ordered the $12 All American breakfast - 2 eggs, potatoes, bacon, wheat toast. Atmosphere was nice, but overpriced. My buddy's breakfast skillet and OJ cost him $18! His breakfast skillet was perfectly portioned for an elementary student. Think he got burned on his deal! Won't ever visit again!

This is our go to place for breakfast in San Diego and usually it rates 5 stars! This time, however, my chicken fried steak was not crisp and did not have the gravy on the side, as requested, so I had to doc them a star. Would have sent it back, but we were with a family group including small children, who get impatient when they are finished eating. The other 7 in our group loved their food, including the kids and adults ordering a variety of items. We will go back, and I might ever try the chicken fried steak again, but it better not be mushy again!

Service is quick and to the point. Big fan of the Caprese Benedict. The El Fuego omelet isn't the best. Overall good place though.

Really nice breakfast joint, eclectic menu and they do a proper coffee... Highly recommended but pricey (like all of San Diego)

Our goto spot for breakfast when in the Gaslamp! Amazing staff. Wide selection of food. I love the selection of eggs Benedict, you can even mix your choice per order! My wife is in love with their bread based selection. Super clean and attentive to all. This is a must visit!!

Very good breakfast. Definitely a good place to eat after a long night. We went early on a Saturday so I'm sure it gets crowded later in the day.

Went for lunch, wasn't in the mood for breakfast but the breakfast menu looked great. Lunch options were pretty good. Wasn't too busy and service was slower than I expected.

The flight of Bloody Marys is a nutritious breakfast including all food groups. :) I also enjoyed the Feista burrito and will not need to eat again until dinner. Enjoyable experience, pleasant service, great food

One of our favorite places for breakfast! Super service and yummy breakfast entrees!We ordered pancakes, Eggs Benedict with home fries, steel cut oatmeal with strawberries 🍓, plus huevos rancheros with refried beans. The food was served quickly, hot and super delicious! The vibe is warm yet modern and they have a roomy layout! Definitely a top spot for breakfast! FYI They have a the BYC Iron Man or Woman Challenge... the 12 egg omelette with lots of other items... all served on a 15” pizza pan, free of charge if one hungry person eats the whole thing in less than one hour! 😲

We ate breakfast there Sunday morning having the waffles and bacon, which was great. We were very pleased with the service received. Will definitely visit again the next time I am in San Diego.

This is a delightfully wonderful place. The whole family loved it. We all have contrasting tastes and we all got something we loved. The service was great as well as the menu. We all had to try what everyone else ordered because everything looked so enticing. From presentation, to flavor, to service...all aspects were covered here. I would recommend it to anyone.

Coffee was good, California omelet was pretty good. The fresh fruit was the best part of the meal. Everything was perfectly ripe and sweet. Priced about right for the neighborhood its in.

I really enjoyed breakfast here. They have a large menu that has a ton of options. They have a hot sauce at the table that is so so good. The coffee is what you would expect, nothing to write home about.

It was a fast, adequate breakfast. I didn't get anything fancy, just eggs, fruit, cold brew and an English muffin. The milk (no soy or alt milks available, btw) for the coffee had some tiny bits of debris floating in it. Atmosphere was fine for a busy morning. I was seated right away

Food was delicious and service was great once we finally got seated. We were missing two people from our party who were right around the corner (literally under 1 minute away) they didn't believe us and gave up our table which caused us to have to wait an additional 30 minutes (1 hr total). Initially it took the server almost 10 minutes to even acknowledge us and I asked the manager if we had a server to hint, hey we haven't been helped yet, (Id like to hope someone would at least come by n say hey we're super busy be there in a few to help you) and he just said yes and abruptly walked away. Once we did get service our server was great, the drinks and food were delicious and came quickly. I would definitely come back but maybe when it wasn't so busy!

Great for a hearty meal or a recovery breakfast! I got the half sandwich/salad/soup and it was just right.

I only ordered simple blueberry pancakes, but the menu is quite exciting! The pancakes were done perfectly. My partner has the eggs Benedict which he greatly enjoyed. The fruit was fresh and presented nicely. The service here is top notch. Our friendly and capable waiter never stopped moving between tables so our coffee was always refilled and we always had what we needed. The restaurant was clean and modern. It has a nice patio right near the ballpark.

This was the most amazing place I've ever ate at for breakfast. Their food is so tasteful and plenty. Very classy and affordable as well. I enjoyed it so much that I'm willing to travel back to San Diego just to have breakfast there again. Our Waiter was great as well!!!!

I did have trouble getting seated with the host up in front. She was very unprofessional and did not look appropriate to be greeting people (which she didnt even smile). Checking out was just as bad, not a smile or a thank you, BUT I do gotta give to the male host (had glasses and blonde hair-may be a manager?). He greeted us and apologized for any trouble. He sat us down and came to check up on us. The service from the waiter was also good so that's why I decided to give them 4 stars vs your usual 1 star for having a partial bad experience.

First off the coffee is great, just the kind of flavor you want your taste buds want to experience in the morning. Their menu is amazing, trying to decide what to order can take you awhile, it all looks good. The wait staff is very attentive and makes you feel like you are the only customer they have. You will not leave disappointed.

Fabulous. Great server, great orange juice, and great food. Very well priced for downtown San Diego. From Indiana and visit San Diego yearly. This is my new breakfast spot.
